BRLF is governed by a General Body and Executive Committee comprising elected, nominated, or ex-officio members. BRLF’s General Body and Executive Committee includes representatives of central and state governments, eminent persons from academia, civil society, and the corporate sector with demonstrated experience, understanding, and commitment to the issues of concern to BRLF, financial institutions, public sector undertakings, philanthropic foundations, academic institutions and institutions representing the industry.
BRLF is subject to audit by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India, and The Right to Information Act, 2005 applies to the Society.
