BRLF announced its first Call for Proposals on 15 April 2014, soliciting applications from civil society organisations for projects that could leverage government flagship programme resources in the Central Indian Tribal Belt. Fourteen projects were funded, several implemented by consortia, bringing the total to 34 partner CSOs across 8 states.
Partners included BAIF, AKRSP-I, SRIJAN, FES, the PARHIT Consortium, SEWA, PRADAN, YCDA, Digambarpur Angikar, Lupin, Rajarhat Prasari, Vikas Sahyog Kendra, the Western Odisha NREGA Consortium and CILI, together targeting outreach to around 6,07,000 households by 2019-20.
